In the course MS PowerPoint 2016: Upgrading from 2007, you will get acquainted with the changes brought to you by the new, upgraded version of the program. In the lessons of this course, you will examine the changes in the program interface, especially those concerning the Backstage view. When creating a new presentation, you will first preview the selected themes and templates. You will see that the program newly sets a widescreen format of slides by default. You will examine the practical usage of some improved tools as well as of the completely new ones. When working with graphical objects placed on slides, you will try using the eyedropper, setting even arrangement and alignment of multiple objects thanks to smart guides, merging multiple shapes into one, setting object effects as well as applying the new tools for charts editing. You will examine the new Speaker view and some improved tools of presenting a slide show. You will also familiarise yourself with the extended options of using comments.
